The Eaton Cutler - Hammer W200MLCNC is a non - reversing motor starter within the Eaton Cutler - Hammer Advantage series. Starters in this series boast a long service life and are compact in size, making them perfect for installation in environments where space conservation is of utmost importance. Similar to other Advantage motor starters, the W200MLCNC safeguards the motor against overcurrents. Moreover, Advantage motor starters maintain a constant coil power even when the control conditions of the control circuit are constantly changing. This characteristic helps prevent coil burnout, as well as welding and contact chatter that result from low voltage and an unstable control signal. The W200MLCNC has a current rating of 27 Amps. For the motor starter to function optimally, its input voltage should be supplied from a 3 - phase source.

The W200MLCNC consists of a power circuit and a control circuit. In the power circuit, electricity passes through the starter's contacts to the overload relay and then is fed to the motor. It should be noted that the control circuit may or may not have the same voltage as the power circuit. When the voltages in both the control circuit and the power circuit are identical, this is referred to as common control. When the voltages are different, it is called separate control. Common control takes place when the control circuit and the power circuit are powered by the same power source. In cases where separate control is necessary, a control power transformer can be utilized.

The W200MLCNC operates with a minimum voltage of 200 Volts AC and a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC.The W200MLCNC consists of a power circuit and a control circuit. In the power circuit, electricity passes through the starter's contacts to the overload relay and then is fed to the motor.
