Beckhoff AM8300 series water-cooled servo motors

The AM8300 series expands the servomotor portfolio to include a modular motor series with integrated water cooling. Thanks to its efficiently integrated water cooling, the AM8300 achieves an extremely high power density, allowing it to deliver up to 40 kW of power within a very compact space, depending on its size. Compared to conventional convection-cooled motors, the power output increases many times over.

Overall specifications: There are five flange sizes, each with three different lengths, forming a complete product series to meet various application requirements.

Power: It can provide a rated power of up to 40kW in a small space, and the stall torque is three times higher than that of similar traditional convection-cooled motors.

Options: Optional backlash-free permanent magnetic holding brake, shaft seal and keyway.

Feedback system: It can be equipped with various feedback systems, such as resolvers and battery-free single-turn and multi-turn encoders using single cable technology (OCT) or Hiperface.

Protection and cooling: It adopts a water cooling system with a protection level of up to IP65, which is suitable for harsh environmental conditions, especially high temperature environments, and can be equipped with 1/8'' or 1/4'' threads to connect the cooling circuit.
