FOXBORO positioner E69P series introduction

The Foxboro brand E69P valve positioner mounts directly to a pneumatic valve yoke and converts a standard DC input signal to a proportional stem position. It eliminates the need for a separate converter and separate positioner. As indicated by the “CE” marking on the product, these valve positioners comply with applicable EU directives.

Due to its small size, compact design and simple connection mechanism, the E69P type valve positioner can be quickly and easily mounted on a variety of valves or other types of pneumatic actuators.

Pipeline vibrations normally encountered have little effect on the E69P. In addition, the effect of tilt is minimal, permitting mounting of the valve without regard to the positioner's attitude. These important advantages are made possible by the low mass components in the E69P's galvanometer motor and the statically balanced and well supported coil.

The positioner can be easily adapted to a wide range of applications through the choice of inputs, selection of forward or reverse action, split input ranges and the availability of standard or explosion proof covers.
