The Model Z1S is a direct-acting check valve with a stacked plate design.
It can be used to block flow in one direction without leakage while allowing free return flow in the opposite direction.
The travel of the plastic cone spool is limited by a plastic spring seat. The installed spring supports the closing motion. The spring holds the plastic cone spool in the closed position when there is no hydraulic flow through the valve. Good leak tightness has been achieved at low pressure (0.1 x p large).
NOTE: The plastic spring seat is mounted on the valve plate.
For all mounting positions where the plastic spring seat is mounted on the valve plate side, no additional seals are used in this position! On the component side, a sealing ring (common) is used to seal the downstream mounted assembly.
The installed plastic spring seat has a sealing function and is not removed or damaged! The projection of the plastic spring seat is required for overall structural reasons (preloading). Static pressure variations may occur with changes in the volume and temperature of the contained hydraulic fluid, which are not caused by leakage from the seat surface.
