The Allen-Bradley 25B-B024N104 is part of the PowerFlex 525 product bulletin of Adjustable Frequency AC drive. This drive comes with configurable parameters that enable it to efficiently control the Speed or Torque of an industrial AC motor and implement a variety of starting and stop modes which is equivalent to the basic operation of a soft-starter device. The 25B-B024N104 is ideally used in general purpose applications and with permanent magnet motors as this drive is capable of Sinusoidal PWM, Volts/Hertz, Sensorless Vector Control, Economizer SVC motor control, Closed Loop Velocity Vector Control, Surface Mount and Interior Permanent Magnet Motor (without encoder), Interior Permanent Magnet Motor (with encoder). It is also capable of being configured with any of the available stop modes such as Ramp, Coast, DC-Brake, and Ramp-to-Stop characteristics. For managed and controlled increase or reduction of speed, the programmable acceleration and deceleration parameters comes in Four (4) individual setting with increment resolution of 0.01 seconds, up to 600 Seconds.
