The front face of the GP unit, installed in a solid panel, has been tested using conditions equivalent to the standards shown in the specification. Even though the GP unit's level of resistance is equivalent to these standards, oils that should have no effect on the GP can possibly harm the unit.

This can occur in areas where either vaporized oils are present, or where low viscosity cutting oils are allowed to adhere to the unit for long periods of time. If the GP's front face protection sheet becomes peeled off, these conditions can lead to theingress of oil into the GP and separate protection measures are suggested. Also, if non-approved oils are present, it may cause deformation or corrosion of the front panel's plastic cover. Therefore, prior to installing the GP unit, be sure to confirm the type of conditions that will be present in the GP's operating environment. The HMI GP4000 is a standard touch panel for operating simple machines. This product range has been optimized to meet the requirements of the operator interface of simple machines. The focus here is on connectivity, cyber security for remote access with Pro-face Connect and user-friendly visualization. The resistive single-touch display in 10.4 inch screen with 65k colors and a resolution of 640x480 pixels is used for visualization, operation and status display of your applications.

The user interface on the HMI is configured with the GP-Pro EX software. The wide range of interfaces (1 x Ethernet (dual IP), 2 x serial COM, 1 x USB (Type A), 1 x USB (mini B) and an SD card slot ensure optimal connectivity. The external dimensions of the display are 272.5 mm (width) x 214.5 mm (height) x 57mm (depth) with a panel cut-out of 259 mm x 201mm and a panel thickness of 1.6 to 5 mm. The product complies with protection class IP65F, Type 4X (for indoor use only), Type 13 (when properly installed in a housing).
