The IC693PBS201 is a Profibus Slave module belonging to the Series 9030 PLC. This PLC was formerly part of GE Fanuc Automation and is now under Emerson Automation.
This module allows for the implementation of a distributed I/O architecture. It can be installed onto any Series 90 - 30 baseplate, functioning as a remote adapter for the I/O modules it hosts. Over the Profibus communication network, it is capable of sending and receiving up to 244 Bytes of input data and 244 Bytes of output data to and from the specified Profibus master. The transmission speeds supported include 9.6 kbps, 19.2 kbps, 93.75 kbps, 187.5 kbps, 500 kbps, 1.5Mbps, 3 Mbps, 6Mbps, and 12 Mbps.
