GDSCN832 series: launched by GigaDevice and officially authorized by Beckhoff. It is a 2/3-port EtherCAT slave controller with 2 internal phy and 1 mii expansion interfaces, built-in dual-channel integrated Ethernet physical layer device, each channel provides full-duplex 100base-tx transceiver, supports 100mbps operation, and is widely used in motor motion control, data acquisition and other fields. It can efficiently connect slave devices to the EtherCAT network and realize stable communication and collaborative work between devices and master stations.


The GDSCN832 product is a 2/3-port EtherCAT® slave controller that integrates 2 internal PHYs and 1 MII expansion interface, with a built-in dual-channel integrated Ethernet physical layer device. Each channel provides a full-duplex 100BASE-TX transceiver and supports 100Mbps operation. The series supports 8 fieldbus memory management units (FMMU), which improves data processing performance and security, effectively reduces memory access latency, further improves system response speed and real-time performance, and provides users with high flexibility in data mapping. It also supports 8 synchronization managers (Sync Manager Entities) to achieve efficient memory management. 


The GDSCN832 series products are configured with up to 8KB dual-port memory (DPRAM) space, which can provide a basis for large data volume processing for complex control systems. With a built-in 64-bit distributed clock, the host bus interface achieves the same function through a high-speed synchronous/asynchronous slave interface with an accuracy of less than 1uS. This product series supports 8/16-bit serial/parallel port communication, supports SPI/QSPI/OSPI slave interface, communication rate up to 100MHz, and also supports EXMC synchronization mode. The rich interface selection provides users with more flexible interface configuration schemes. The internal integrated 1.1V core regulator supports single 3.3 V power supply operation; it also supports 1.8V-3.3V variable voltage I/O. GDSCN832 supports HP Auto-MDIX, which can achieve direct or cross LAN cable connection. Four low-power modes are provided to achieve an excellent balance between energy efficiency and power consumption.
