ABB Fire Detection Fiber Optic SF810 Series Description
The principle of infrared flame detector: there are a lot of visible light and infrared light above 0.9m in the flame. These wavelengths of light are not easily absorbed by coal dust, water vapor and other combustion products, so it is suitable for detecting the proper combustion of pulverized coal flames, heavy oil flames, and fuels with a high inert gas content. Infrared flame detection determines the presence of a flame by detecting the intensity and flame frequency of the infrared light emitted from a burning flame. The probe uses either a lead sulfide photocell or a silicon photodiode. Since the hearth fire is *burned* in the flame zone, the frequency of the flame usually does not exceed 2 HZ. Therefore, the IR flame detector can differentiate between burner flames and background flames by means of a filter circuit.
