Sensor can be calibrated without having to open the process
Compact design for space-saving installation
Electrical connection easy and quick via M12 x 1 connector
With direct sensor output (Pt100/Pt1000 in 3- or 4-wire connection) or integrated transmitter with output signal 4 ... 20 mA, individually parameterizable with free PC configuration software WIKAsoft-TT
Materials and surface qualities according to hygienic design standards
The resistance thermometer type TR21-A is used for temperature measurement in sterile process engineering and can
be used to measure liquid and gaseous media in the range -30 ... +250 °C [-22 ... +482 °F]. Intrinsically safe versions are available for use in potentially explosive areas.
These thermometers are equipped with multi-part protective tubes, whose process connections meet the high requirements for a hygienic
measuring point in terms of material and design. All electrical components are protected against moisture (IP67 or IP69K).
The resistance thermometer is available with a direct sensor output or an integrated transmitter, which can be individually parameterized using the WIKAsoft-TT PC configuration software
. The measuring range, damping, error signaling according to NAMUR NE 043 and tag number are adjustable.
For easy calibration or maintenance, the sensor is replaceable without having to open the process. This minimizes hygiene risks and reduces downtime.
The spring integrated in the union nut ensures contact between the sensor tip and the protective tube base, thus guaranteeing a short response time and consistently high accuracy. The welded transition from the multi-part protective tube to the flange makes the use of a seal as additional material in the product-contacting area superfluous. Installation length, process connection, sensor and circuit type can be selected for the respective application in accordance with the ordering information. Electrical contact is made using a circular connector M12 x 1.
