The EL7201 servo motor EtherCAT terminal, with integrated resolver interface, offers high servo performance in a very compact design. The fast control technology, based on field-oriented current and PI speed control, supports fast and highly dynamic positioning tasks. Numerous monitoring functions, such as overvoltage and undervoltage, overcurrent, terminal temperature or motor utilization, via the calculation of an I2T model, offer the highest level of operational reliability. EtherCAT, as a powerful system communication, and CAN-over-EtherCAT (CoE), as an application layer, enable ideal connection to PC-based control technology. The latest power semiconductors guarantee minimal power loss and enable feedback into the intermediate circuit during braking. 16 LEDs display status, warning and error messages as well as any active limitations.
