ABB fire detection fiber SF810 series work principle
There is a large amount of visible light and infrared rays above 0.9m in the flame. Light of these wavelengths is not easily absorbed by coal dust, water vapor and other combustion products, so it is suitable for detecting the proper combustion of coal powder flames, heavy oil flames and fuels with high inert gas content. Infrared flame detection determines the presence of flames by detecting the intensity of infrared rays emitted by the burning flame and the flame frequency. The probe uses lead sulfide phototubes or silicon photodiodes. Since the flames of the furnace are completely burned in the flame zone, the frequency of the flames usually does not exceed 2HZ. Therefore, the infrared flame detector can distinguish the burner flame from the background flame through the filter circuit.
