The 25A-B024N104 is an adjustable frequency AC drive that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is part of the PowerFlex 500 product family and specifically belongs to the PowerFlex 523 sub-category. This drive and the entire PowerFlex series are mainly used to implement standard and advanced motor controls particularly ON/Off and modulation of Speed and Torque of an AC motor. This drive may also be used to efficiently start and stop the connected AC motor with the use of starting and stopping modes, readily configurable within the drive. Specifically, the 25A-B024N104 configurable control methods help define the type of control and output characteristics for motor control. These control methods include Volts per Hertz (V/Hz), Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), SVC with economizer. For efficient starting and stopping as well as limiting the generation of high levels of current and minimizing the effects of mechanical stress due to abrupt change in a motor rotational direction, this drive is provided with configurable starting acceleration and deceleration which can be independently configured while a variety of stopping modes such as Ramp, Coast, DC-Brake, and Ramp-to-Stop.
