Allen Bradley 1791-24AR AC block I/O Module

  • Product Item : 1791-24AR
  • Product Brand : Allen-Bradley
  • INQUIRY

The Allen Bradley 1791-24AR is a unique AC block I/O Module. This module has 8 relay outputs and 24 inputs. There are 24 inputs per block on the 1791-24AR, which are formed by 3 group of 8. The 8 outputs on this module are electromechanical relays. These relays are normally open.  The nominal input voltage is 120 Volts AC with an input current of 11 milliamps, these are the same input ratings as the other common AC Block modules of the 1791 series.

The output voltage range of 1791-24AR is dependent on the load. This means the output voltage can be either a DC or an AC voltage type. For example, at 1 Amps resistive maximum, the output voltage will be 20 - 132 Volts AC or 20 - 30 Volts DC. The lower the resistive maximum, the higher the output voltage will be. At 0.2 Amps resistive maximum, the output voltage can increase up to 125 Volts DC. The output current rating of 1791-24AR is dependent on the rated power or power factor. The output current rating of the resistive group has same specifications as described on output voltage range. However, the inductive group has different specifications than the resistive group. At 20 - 132 Volts AC and cos phi = 0.4, the output current will be 0.5 Amps. At 20 - 30 Volts DC and L/R = 7 ms, the output current will be 1 Amps. Lastly, at a steady 125 Volts DC, the output current will be 0.1 Amps.
