The 1797-ACN15 function similarly to a standard ControlNet communication adapter. This module comes with Two (2) ControlNet ports for connection of ControlNet coaxial media cable. It supports linear ControlNet media however, the 1797-ACNR15 is specifically designed for implementation of ControlNet Ex redundant network.
The 1797-ACNR15 supports installation of up to Eight (8) Flex Ex I/O modules. It has IS media type of Ex ib IIB/IIC T4; AEx ib IIC T4; Class I, Division 1 Groups A-G T4 and IS module type of Ex ib IIB/IIC T4, AEx ib IIC T4, Class I Division 1 Groups
