The 1756-M12 memory expansion module can function alongside an Allen-Bradley 1756-BATM ControlLogix battery module while the ControlLogix5555 controller is in the chassis. No special equipment is required for the installation of the 1756-M12 module. Its memory slot can be accessed with a #2 Phillips screwdriver and the connector design of the memory board allows for fast and easy installation. The 1756-M12 memory board features an open type of enclosure and its recommended operating temperature range is from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
