Allen-Bradley 1756-ESMNSE ControlLogix Energy Storage Module (ESM)

The Allen-Bradley 1756-ESMNSE is a Capacitor Energy Storage Module that is compatible with the 1756-L7x or 1756-L7xXT GuardLogix controllers and the ControlLogix 5570 controller.

This 1756-ESMNSE module can only be used with a 1756-L73 (8 Megabyte) or smaller memory-sized controller. If your application requires that the ESM or energy storage controller is depleted of its residual energy when installed, make sure that it is exactly or below 40 μJ before transporting it into or out of the application. It usually takes 20 minutes for the residual stored energy to go down to that level.
