The 1719-IBN8 ships with a DLR adapter and optional power supply. The module provides HART 7 support. The module has a squared wire size between 0.14 and 0.5 millimeters. It is an unshielded wire. The module comes with a functional switch. There is a power supply module and different ports for field connections. An extension connection is also available with this drive. The 1719-IBN8 is an intrinsically safe distributed platform and it can only be mounted in Zone 2 or Class 1 area. A diagnostic screen is also present which shows information about the module. It has a screen which shows information in tabular form. A separate Ethernet/IP port is used to integrate the device in hazardous areas.
