Allen-Bradley AC Servo controllers 1391 series
The Allen-Bradley AC Servo 1391 series are AC servo controllers. To keep the UL listing, their power must come from an Allen-Bradley 1391 Isolation Transformer. Only trained users should handle the planning and implementation of this controller system. Static control procedures should be followed to reduce component damage.
These are PWM servo controllers, dedicated for single-AC-axis, and usually used with computer-aided closed-loop positioning systems to control machine parts' position and motion. They're designed for panel mounting inside enclosures and have an internal fan for air circulation.
The controllers convert 50-60 Hertz 3-phase input voltage to variable voltage with controlled amplitude, phase, and frequency values. The output controls the speed and/or torque of a 1326 AC servo motor. Available in 15 Amps, 22.5 Amps, and 45 Amps RMS ratings (with the same package size), their corresponding output power ratings are 5 kilowatts, 7.5 kilowatts, and 15 kilowatts.
The rated ambient temperature is 0-60 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature is 0 - 65 degrees Celsius. The output of the cooling fan is 50 CFM. The controllers must be mounted inside proper enclosures to protect them from contaminants like oil, dust, and coolants.
