General Features：
The SP-220 Series comes with an integral pump, an LCD display with backlight, a molded rubber cover, an LED light, and weather protection.
The instruments have an IP - 55 rating against dust and water ingress. They also have Snap logging (128 readings) and data - logging (256 data points). These features enable accurate record - keeping and ensure testing accountability. Moreover, the SP-220 has the capability to zero out background gas, which helps in determining whether you are approaching a leak source.
The lightweight SP-220-SC is an extremely sensitive Gas Leak Detector designed for Toxic, Combustible, and CFC Freon gases.
The SC version of the SP - 220 type utilizes a hot - wire semiconductor sensor (MOS) capable of detecting a variety of target gases. You can choose from any of the forty listed gases for a direct reading, with a single calibration gas (PH3) as the reference. This new SP-220-SC model has replaced the SP-205ASC, which was used in the semiconductor industry for highly sensitive leak checks of hydride gases.
